    The Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature, at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, extends a cordial invitation to submit an article or participate in the International Conference dedicated to the 700th anniversary of Hafez Shirazi. The conference will delve into the theme: "The Place of Hafez in World Literature". The event is scheduled to take place in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, from October 14-15, 2024. We eagerly anticipate and appreciate your valuable contributions.


1. Hafez: biography, literature heritage and thoughts:

    - School of Hafez and Rindi;

    - Hafez and Irfan (Mysticism);

    - The concept of  “Love” in Hafez poetry;

    - The concept of “Wine” in Hafez poetry;

    - The poetical art of Hafez.

2. Studies of the original scripts and textual criticism of Hafez’s works.

3. Studies of Hafez in the East.

4. Studies of Hafez in the West.

5. Hafez and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: “West - Eastern Diwan”

- Goethe and Tajik-Persian poetry.

6. Commentaries on Hafez's Diwan.

7. Hafez and writing of ghazal tradition in Tajik-Persian literature.

8. Hafez and modern Tajik-Persian ghazal.

9. Language, expression and style of Hafez.

10. Translation of Hafez's poetry and languages of the world.

11. Hafez and music.

12. Hafez and folk culture.
